MIT Solve is an initiative by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to develop and implement solutions to the world’s greatest challenges—including in the areas of education, health, energy and inequality.
It brings together technologists, researchers, social entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers, change agents and activists from across the globe to unearth and implement practical, workable ideas, in the spirit of the United Nations itself.
“Solve at the United Nations” will convene a panel of experts to judge and select the best and most plausible solutions submitted to Solve’s open innovation challenges on Refugee Education, Carbon Emissions, and Chronic Diseases. The winners will work with MIT Solve to establish partnerships with leaders from the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors who are seeking opportunities to implement innovative, scalable ideas.
