The topic of the seminar is on The role of NHRI’s in conflict and fragile contexts: A contribution to peaceful, just and inclusive societies. The seminar is hosted by the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions. The seminar is sponsored by the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United Nations in New York.  The seminar will feature a range of speakers and discussants including a keynote address by the Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. Jan Eliasson.
The seminar is hosted by the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions, and is sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations in New York​​​.
