This event will build on the recent announcements by countries to join or ratify the Paris Agreement on 22 April or within 2016. It will celebrate the leadership of those countries who have deposited their instruments of ratification during the Signature Ceremony and provide an opportunity for countries to commit to taking the domestic steps necessary to join as soon as possible, with a view to joining in 2016.
