        04:00 AM - 12:00 PM        High Commissioner’s Dialogue on Protection Challenges, 2015 (Geneva, Palais des Nations, Switzerland). Theme: Understanding and addressing root causes of displacement.
The objective of the Dialogue is to bring together States, intergovernmental organizations, civil society and other relevant humanitarian and academic partners so as to understand better existing and newly developing root causes of displacement and to identify actions to prevent, address and resolve them.
An inter-governmental agreed outcome document is expected to be adopted at this meeting.  
The Dialogue consists of a mix of plenary sessions, breakout discussions and side events. The outcomes are summarized by the High Commissioner and may include recommendations for follow-up action.

The side event will show how connectivity and overall access have improved since WSIS 2005 through collaborative efforts of all stakeholders, and how a free and open Internet based on multistakeholder cooperation is an important component for development. Each participant will be invited to share practical experiences of working with governments, industry, civil society and the technical community to increase access and connectivity in the past 10 years. Speakers will be invited to inform a post-2015 Vision for collaboration to increase access and connectivity in developing countries, and how it relates to the implementation of the newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals.
