The Climate Neutral Now is a UNFCCC campaign designed to encourage organisations, governments and members of the public to measure, reduce and then offset their greenhouse gas emissions. The website and surrounding communications will explain how the ‘measure, reduce, offset’ strategy can be used to achieve global emissions reductions targets.

The UNITAR side event will evaluate synergies such as trust, social cohesion and reducing and countering the causes of extremism, taking into account goals for sustainable development, especially Goal 16, which calls inter alia for peaceful and inclusive societies.
