The event will aim to deepen policy dialogue on the role of development cooperation in supporting the efforts of MICs to eradicate poverty in a universal, multi-dimensional global development framework, and examine the role of development co-operation in ensuring that transition to middle-income status does not result in development setbacks. This aims to contribute to the discussion of the agenda of the Open Working Group by providing a discussion on global models for partnership that address the different needs and roles of different types of countries.
