PRESS RELEASE
November 16, 2011 Russia, Vladivostok.

"International Day for Tolerance"

In 1996, the UN General Assembly (by resolution 51/95) invited UN Member States to observe the International Day for Tolerance on 16 November, with activities directed towards both educational establishments and the wider public.

This action followed on the United Nations Year for Tolerance, 1995, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 at the initiative of UNESCO, as outlined in the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance and Follow-up Plan of Action for the Year.
The 2005 World Summit Outcome document (A/RES/60/1) furthered the commitment of Heads of State and Government to advance human welfare, freedom and progress everywhere, as well as to encourage tolerance, respect, dialogue and cooperation among different cultures, civilizations and peoples.
As chairman of the "Russian language Association Distanced Ainur",  I regret to have to say: the Japanese government and its media have a long way on the road to real tolerance. But we do know that time will come when all the Japanese people will be grateful to us for what we do for him. For every day of our efforts to work on earthquake prediction technology, it saved the lives of children and mothers. Every day in our fight against criminal inaction of officials, will result in the future appreciation of fathers of children Fukushima. Every hour we spend now to help the people of Japan, is the fulfillment of the Great Words Ainu Rak Guru: 'Do not kill her.
And our grandchildren will say to us: "Thank you".
